Mission Statement
The mission of STAR@VCU is to aid in the successful resettlement of refugees and migrants in the Richmond, VA community by connecting refugees to student volunteers and resources.
Collaboration with CEMiHR
CEMiHR is collaborating with STAR@VCU to coordinate services, resources, and migration-related events, such as annual conferences, symposiums, and forums to bring awareness to issues faced by migrant communities. Our goal in this collaboration is to enhance the successful integration of newcomers in our community and to provide spaces for mutual learning and assistance.
